Cold plate Iceberg with, Cellpath
The CellTec IceBerg™ cold plate is an innovative solution designed to replace ice blocks or chiller sprays traditionally used to cool tissue blocks prior to sectioning. Advanced cooling gel enables the cold plate to retain colder temperatures for a longer period of time. Cold plate pre-cooled to -20°C for 3 to 5 hours, allows user to chill blocks up to 4 hours at room temperature. Moulded, insulated base. Removable, rugged aluminium cold plate. Up to 36 blocks can be cooled at once which is essential in busy laboratories. Base collects any condensate formed so the bench and floor stay dry. Convenient size, the cold plate can sit alongside the microtome. Removes the need for messy ice trays. No electrical components or compressors: results in low running costs and silent operation.

Coolplate Iceberg+ Cellpath
The Iceberg+™ is a standalone cold plate, used to cool down paraffin blocks prior to sectioning. Designed with an extra-large cooling surface, it can accommodate over 60 standard-sized blocks or 15 Supa Mega-sized blocks at one time.
Ultra-fast cooling system: < 5 minutes to reach pre-set -5°C temperature.
Large capacity cooling plate: 60 standard size blocks or 15 Supa Mega blocks.
Quick cooling time: approximately 15 minutes to cool 60 standard 24 x 24 x 5 mm blocks.
Quiet operation.
Digital temperature control ± 1°C accuracy (at calibration point).
Ability to change the set temperature to meet customer needs.
Easy to clean.
Anti-microbial finish to inhibit bacteria and virus growth.
Consistent temperature across the entire cold plate ensures that all blocks are ready for sectioning at the same time.
The cooling surface is limited to -12°C, for specimen safety.
Non-slip feet prevent instrument from moving during use.
