Specially conceived for use in the Histology labs, these containers are provided with a double internal thread. Transparent polypropylene with a ribbed yellow polyethylene lid. Graduated in the mass per 50. Pouring ring at the top of the container, so fluids can be poured efficiently. Ideal for storage of fluids and solids due to the leakproof screw cap.CE marking.

Cryosette tissue storage container, orange, white lid, Simport

The Simport CryoSette™ is designed for frozen tissue collection, transport and storage. It can also be used for storing a multitude of other specimens in all laboratories. The robust design ensures that tissue morphology will be well preserved. Wide-mouth opening and high integrity screw closure. Flat bottom and straight sides for easy tissue removal. 2 marking spaces: an anterior surface, improved for ink adherence, and a larger space underneath the base to be used for the cardboard ID label and the plastic transparent cover. Specific shape for easier manipulation with or without gloves. Efficiently stores samples in -86°C ULT freezers, or in the gas phase of liquid nitrogen in Dewar flasks at -196°C but not in the liquid phase. The screw closure and base do not seize at low temperatures. Base made of acetal, screw cap made of HDPE. Chamber dimensions (outer Ø x inner Ø x h) = 21 x 18 x 10,5 mm, total CryoSette™ dimensions (l x w x h) = 38 x 24 x 11 mm. Storage boxes: Compatible with leading frozen sample storage systems, such as robotic equipment. Thick walls minimizing deformation due to temperature changes. Rack orientation marks on sides. Latches for locking and unlocking rack lid. Autoclavable. Temperature range -196°C to +121°C. Suitable for cryogenic storage, but only in gas phase of liquid nitrogen. The 40 places version has a frosted cover to write directly on top of the box and it’s keyed to the base to prevent misalignment. Dimensions box (l x w x h) = 128 x 85,50 x 42 mm (21 pl.), 133 x 133 x 52 mm (40 pl.).
