The TubeSpin® Bioreactors are ideal for large-scale screenings and optimising growth of the suspension cell system processes. The important parameters for the production upscaling can be evaluated with small amounts. This lowers the cost and increases the efficiency of the process. Working volume: TubeSpin® Bioreactor 15 (1 - 15 ml), TubeSpin® Bioreactor 50 (1 - 35 ml), TubeSpin® Bioreactor 450 (± 300 ml), TubeSpin® Bioreactor 600 (± 400 ml). Filter screw cap with 5 (A-B-C-D-E) or 10 different openings above the gas permeable, sterile PTFE filter. Sterile gas exchange is guaranteed by the 0,22 µm filter membrane. Fits standard centrifuge apparatus. Matching adapter plates for shakers available (Bioreactor 600).

The TubeSpin® Bioreactor 50 with septum is intended for the use during laboratory automations such as: robotics use for sterile exchange of medium and solutions or withdrawal from cell based products. Features: Reclosable cross-slit septum for multiple entries. Compatible with injection needles up to Ø 2,1 mm (12G). Working volume < 50 ml, graduation markings start at 0,5 ml. Barcode 128 on each tube for automated tracking: the lot number plus the tube number render each tube unique. Sterile gas exchange through filter openings in the screw cap. Conical tube fits in standard 50 ml centrifuge adapter. Usage: Multiple robot entry with injection needles and cannulas through reclosable cross-slit septum. Sterile media and solution exchange or removal of cell based products, enabled by surface sterilization of septum. Septum access eliminates continuous screwing/unscrewing thanks to the robotic automation. Centrifugation of suspension cells without need of prior removal of the solution.
